Went to Mt. Rainier again, the weather was cloudy then started to rain heavily when we arrived and got off the car. Eddie and I were very into this composition recently.

Met Michael Chang

I am sorry but I've always wanted to meet Pete Sampras more.

Anyway, i met michael chang yesterday when i was sitting in a STARBUCKS by the entrace of CROSSROAD mall in Bellevue.
he was wearing sunglasses and walking into the mall with a girl. i thought that's him but wasn't sure coz he wasn't as tall as i expected and i couldn't see his eyes. so i sat down immediately turned on my laptop and google how tall he is.
ok, 175cm. at the same time he walked out of the mall again, this time with his sunglasses off. i bet that's him, if it's not, then this guy must have beem asked to go to the "superstar face" show!!
Michael lives in mercer island, which is an expensive area and only few mins away from Bellevue. therefore it is reasonable for him to show up in that mall. i think.

12 GIRLS BAND in seattle

we got the news of the 12 Girls Band coming to Seattle and performed in the MOORE theater 2 hours before the show started. so we went there see if there's any tickets left, luckily, there were still a lot (i guess their audiences are mainly asians), so we paid total 52 for 2 tickets.

my comments are
1. Performance OK (i mean acting part, that's part of music performance too)
2. Speakers 2 thumbs down, SO BAD! i heard harsh feedback and very high frequency of irretating sound during the performance
3. Stage/theater 1 thumb down, it made the perforamce looks cheap, but i don't blame them coz there were not many choices around. they're just not smart to pick up this place, i bet many auditoiums in schools are better than this one
4. Music performance soso, I could hardly tell if the music sounds good coz the computer generated backgound music was soooooooo LOUD! Audio engineer deserves being kicked ass for 100 times for his bad mixing.
5. VERY commercial. Their performances gave me an impression of using loud music to cover any weakness. they don't really have music that can show how great they can play their instruments. these were OK with me, since that's how they sold their CD and we all have difference preferences.

Finally when I felt dissapointed that I couldn't tell if their performance was good or not (coz i couldn't hear the music from their instruments clearly), Eddie insisted staying and shaking hands with those girls. I didn't like the idea but i agreed to stay coz i'd like to check out one of the pi-pa girls. However the theater staff ask people who didn't have their CDs to leave so that they could start to sign autograph for those who have CDs. we pretended we have CD and stood with others but there's not much fun coz they don't speak English and the theater staff didn't want people to chat with them coz that's gonna waste the time.

Eddie was pretty mean, when we checked the posters outside the theater, he said there are only two girls in the band are "ok-to-go-out-with-as-a-date," but i think they looked better in persons than in the posters. and we almost had a fight coz he said the performance was nice while i strongly disagreed. PERSONALLY i agreed that they might have excellent performances somewhere else but definitely not tonite in Seattle.

CLOUD 9

There are couple things happening. First I found a group of people doing independent film with low-budget and looking for volunteer crew positions. Therefore I volunteered.
I went to meet the director on Sunday and it came out nice, he welcomed me abroad. We talked for several minutes and he told me that his background is theater/film.
Theater! it immediately reminds me of COULD 9 and how i finally found out the meaning of this word.
During our old fine days, we were in COULD 9.

This is an old one, taken in Yellowstone National Park with full-automatic mode of a Minolta camera. The point is, Eddie thought he took this picture and started to send out to his friends while I truely believe that it is me who took the picture.

a FOGgy day in Mt. RAinier

Sleepless in SEATTLE, picture taken from KERRY park on QUeen ANn Hill. a perfect night in seattle should have the moon hanging on the sky above the buildings. it's a PITY i don't have it here.

Final episode of my neighbor. I will delete them in the future.

alright, this time i am gonna make it really short.
so my story continues.

we (actually only the director) decided we three have to meet, so we finally have a chance face to face. my neighbor started saying she doesn't like to complain but hell! lady you complained about me all the time and you don't come over to talk with me but reported me all the time. and she continued to complain what i did to wake her up in the middle of the night such as i was punching the closet. HEY! i've never done that, i am a considerate person and quiet roommate and known for that from my college years. whatever she comlained but she couldn't prove it and i think she's trying to make things up to make herself sounds more miserable.

anyway this meeting didn't come to a perfect conclusion but i promised to change the setting of my speakers and lowered down my volumne during the night. i felt so much pressure in my room and the pressure pushed me to stay in the lab for longer. that's a good thing coz i got more time to work on my school project.

another good thing is, i found my japanese neighbor very nice to me, she told me that she tried to talk to the director on her own and saying some good things about me and saying if anyone should move out of the dorm, that would definitely be my other neighbor. thanks to her~

here we also learned a lesson, that is if some taiwanese wants to be an american, you'd better keep a distance from her coz she might enjoy suing people.

UNfortunately that's my neighbor - part 2

Wa, after nearly six months, i am back again to finish up my story.
i've talked about this experience too many times and got sick of it myself, so i'll try to make it short.
After my neighbor came to complain about my noise, i got upset and tried to talk to my other side of neighbor, she's a japanese.
OH you're totally fine! i didn't hear you much, but i DID hear her knocking the closet and was wondering what happened.
so she responded.

the following monday after the "friday knocking event," i got a mail asking me to talk to the director of the hall. BITCH! i couldn't fight alone so i asked one of my friend Alice who was there in my room when it happened and my suitmate the japanese girl. we didn't meet the director coz he was out of office, so i have to go back myself the second, and i Did.

before i went to visit the director, my boyfriend Eddie tried to make a call to him and helped me to explain in case i got too anxious.
from the director i found my neighbor complained a lot about me, some she didn't even mention to me, hell knows if she made it up or not. but what happened was on SUNDAY, someone wrote a message on her white board on the door says "you smell." apparently my neighbor thought that was me, so she tried to reach me but i went to the library. then she called the police and the housing department in school and was crying. this is really unfair i hate people pretending they are weak but actually they are HARMFUL!!
if she can take "you smell" so seriously, i should have called police when she wanted to "fuck your mom."
unfortunately i also cried in the director's office like my psycho neighbor did, so the director said, we need to have both of you here to talk about this.
