12 GIRLS BAND in seattle

we got the news of the 12 Girls Band coming to Seattle and performed in the MOORE theater 2 hours before the show started. so we went there see if there's any tickets left, luckily, there were still a lot (i guess their audiences are mainly asians), so we paid total 52 for 2 tickets.

my comments are
1. Performance OK (i mean acting part, that's part of music performance too)
2. Speakers 2 thumbs down, SO BAD! i heard harsh feedback and very high frequency of irretating sound during the performance
3. Stage/theater 1 thumb down, it made the perforamce looks cheap, but i don't blame them coz there were not many choices around. they're just not smart to pick up this place, i bet many auditoiums in schools are better than this one
4. Music performance soso, I could hardly tell if the music sounds good coz the computer generated backgound music was soooooooo LOUD! Audio engineer deserves being kicked ass for 100 times for his bad mixing.
5. VERY commercial. Their performances gave me an impression of using loud music to cover any weakness. they don't really have music that can show how great they can play their instruments. these were OK with me, since that's how they sold their CD and we all have difference preferences.

Finally when I felt dissapointed that I couldn't tell if their performance was good or not (coz i couldn't hear the music from their instruments clearly), Eddie insisted staying and shaking hands with those girls. I didn't like the idea but i agreed to stay coz i'd like to check out one of the pi-pa girls. However the theater staff ask people who didn't have their CDs to leave so that they could start to sign autograph for those who have CDs. we pretended we have CD and stood with others but there's not much fun coz they don't speak English and the theater staff didn't want people to chat with them coz that's gonna waste the time.

Eddie was pretty mean, when we checked the posters outside the theater, he said there are only two girls in the band are "ok-to-go-out-with-as-a-date," but i think they looked better in persons than in the posters. and we almost had a fight coz he said the performance was nice while i strongly disagreed. PERSONALLY i agreed that they might have excellent performances somewhere else but definitely not tonite in Seattle.
